CODEX RZ is a crispy red variety with a nice red-green contrast in the leaves. The variety is strong against bolting and tip burn. The upright growth habit of Codex RZ offers a great potential for the convenience sector.
Codex is a Salanova® variety. With just one cut at the base, Salanova lettuce separates into multiple evenly proportioned, ready-to-eat, leaves. Salanova® lettuce have up tot three times more useable leaves than traditional lettuce.
