The small, spoon-shaped leaves have a sweet flavour, crisp texture and a good shelf life, which makes this variety ideal for snack lettuce, tapas-style finger food and prepacked salad bags. The small-sized heads can also be sold in twin or triple packs or as mechanically harvested loose leaves.
